A feature-length documentary based on film reports from the Spanish civil war.

This is a compilation of some of the films that Alice Guy filmed in Spain from mid-October to the end of November, 1905 (catalogue numbers 1371 to 1384) that were individually released in early 1906.

Four loosely connected stories tell of the here and now, where human trafficking, the vagaries of people smugglers, violence against women, restrictive immigration laws, gambling addiction, debt and business deals of all kinds are the order of the day.

The film tells the story through the eyes of a young boy who has a unique experience of Jesus' presence during his first Holy Communion. The power of prayer, the issue of alcoholism in a Christian family, the mother's love and determination to save the family, and the father's conversion provide the basis for a powerful story. Most of the footage was shot in a small forgotten village in the middle of the beautiful Slovak mountains in the village of Velké Borové.

Santiago meets Paulina at a party. Love is a cycle and both will fall into it a second, third, or perhaps fifth time. Their relationship could last forever or, more likely, they will only become one more visit in each other's lives.
